Lace is a textile characterized by complex hollow patterns. It originated in Egypt and later became popular in Europe and became an element of a large number of decorative arts.
Lin Shuzhen, general manager of Tainan's "Ming Lin Lace" with 50 years of craftsmanship, uses creativity to cut into the surrounding life, allowing lace to shine elegantly again and again, building a romantic kingdom.
In 1959, Minglin founder Lin Maosong started from a small shop in Wuping on Haian Road in Tainan,
specializing in the design and production of embroidery lace. He grew up with the simple Taiwanese society at that time and recorded the economic miracle of Taiwan with the beautiful and complex patterns of lace. context.
At that time, domestic and foreign sales were booming, making it the largest lace supplier in Taiwan.
However, after a series of changes as Taiwan's textile industry moved westward to the mainland, the original bustling business turned into a deserted business, causing Minglin's past accumulated foundation to instantly turn into a bubble.
Lin Shuzhen said that it could not be said to be despair at the time, but it had reached a freezing point. The long-term sluggish operation made the whole family very helpless. In 2011, they even had the idea of ending this 50-year-old industry.
But in the end, the two sisters chose to inherit it bravely, hoping to give Minglin a new life and restart the transformation.
